Mission:

Bouncing peaches a new age, cloth diaper brand wanted to launch a new range of super attractive and very efficient diapers. The founder, Sathya Seshachalam, had a vision of creating a sub-brand for the same. Our mission was to work on the identity design for a new sub brand and build a cohesive look and feel for the brand throughout. We needed to increase the visual brand recall before and after the products launched in physical & online stores.

Outcome:

We put together a color palette specifically for the new sub-brand that was named ‘Peach Perfect’ that reflected the softness associated with babies and the vivaciousness and fun elements that mothers love. We created a simple word mark for the same and a launch poster that set the tone for their entire visual branding. A beautifully crafted package design was the highlight of the project.

Impact:

The visual branding resonated extremely well with the audience right from the beginning. It created a very strong brand recall and people were drawn to the creatives & marketing collateral based on the brand guidelines. The package design was well received, it stood out in the shops among a sea of other stuff and competitor products.

Story

Bouncing peaches had been in the new age cloth diaper market for a little more than a year and after product testing and gaining valuable feedback from their customers they had gone back to create a new and improved product line. The eco-friendly diapers are designed for maximum comfort of babies and best value for money to the delight of parents.
The founder Sathya, got in touch with us looking for some fresh new ideas and creativity to help her take her product to the market. We commend the efforts of Sathya who almost single-handedly took care of all the work, right from the R&D on the product design, to getting it manufactured from abroad, to marketing and building a community of new & experienced parents and offering them value through her product. We were all revved up to start working on this interesting project.

As Bouncing Peaches is based out of Bangalore, after the initial in person meeting, the project began with us doing a brand discovery workshop, facilitated online via zoom video calls.
We began with the color palette, and thoughtfully chose something that reflected the softness associated with babies and the vivaciousness that mothers love. The colors were soothing yet very lively. The next step was to work on the word-mark for ‘Peach Perfect’, and we were after something that was minimalistic. With the color palette & the word-mark ready, we created the brand guidelines that would hold together, the marketing, advertising and all the interactions the brand had with its customers in a very consistent way visually.

The highlight of the project was the package design which we were eager to work on. Once a product is out in the market, at physical stores and stacked up on the shelves, it’s in competition with every other product in there for the customer’s attention. This meant, the package design not just had to be on brand but also needed to be very attractive.
The diaper had simple boxes with see through windows and the inserts came in pillow cases. We crafted something that looked fun and colorful, would hold the attention of the buyer and the kids would find it attractive to play with.
A bit of iconography and digital illustrations went into the package design too as we created a user guide. And the package design was completed with designing a couple of tags for the products.
We then coordinated with a printer the client chose to get the boxes printed and ready to go.
We very extremely delighted with the feedback we got for our work, not just from Sathya but also from her customers who loved the visual branding as much as they loved the excellent product and the funky designs of the Peach Perfect range.

Client Testimonial

Mahima is an exceptional designer who comes up with her unique designs and doesn’t compromise on quality of work. She is a lovely person to work with. what I loved most about her work was the beautiful color scheme she provided us with. It was not just aesthetically pleasing but was actually strategically planned & created with color psychology & attraction factor in mind.
Mahima casts her magic spell on all the work she does. And I would like to work again with her in the future & have already shared her reference with other entrepreneur friends of mine.
